You can get Smurfs outfits for adults or kids for your costume party. Reunions are enjoyable occasions where food and conversation are great with more than enough to go around. Make this year's theme: "A Smurfy Smurf World."
In the cartoons version, you have a Smurfs village with over a hundred three-apple-sized blue creatures happily living together in peace. Have your venue designed as the mushroom Smurfs village. Have your decors in Smurf theme also from Smurf inspired food, linen, paper plates, glasses and flatware to creating a smurfy program and on to distribution of smurfy loot bags.
You can have each clan member come in a Smurfs outfit which is standard in blue top, white bottom, white hat and white shoes. Each Smurf should play the character chosen with no duplication. Aside from Papa Smurf who can be your eldest male relative to wear the proper outfit of blue top, red bottom and red hat and Smurfette who can be your youngest little female relative in Smurfs outfit blue top and bottom, white dress and blond hair, the rest will be similarly dressed but with their proper accessories or props to set them apart. Some of which are described below:
Smurfs Outfit # 1: Reporter Smurf. Together with his outfit, Reporter Smurf should be in character carrying a quill & paper and wearing a visor popularly used in the newsroom. He can go around interviewing people, jotting down what was said and generally be the newsman and give a good portrayal of the character.
Smurfs Outfit # 2: Tailor Smurf. Be in a Tailor outfit and have needles sticking out of your Smurf hat. Make sure you get a tape measure to wrap around your neck so your relatives can identify you right away as you act out your part.
Smurfs Outfit # 3: Farmer Smurf. A straw hat and overalls over his blue and white costume will make Farmer Smurf different from the others. He can talk in farmer like manner and discuss this year's crops and following harvest.
Smurfs Outfit # 4: Dreamy Smurf. No accessories for this Smurf who can just come in a basic blue and white outfit. He can sit still and stare into space for times during the event to be the character he came in as.
There are many other Smurf characters with special skills or unique personalities that would fit each of your relatives. Give out awards for best characterization. Have fun and enjoy family bonding the smurfy way.
